LITHOGRAPHS

Lithography is a layered drawing process. The artist’s aim is to draw the everyday conditions of his own world. These everyday conditions make up the existence of the characters he depicts. It becomes their hope and anxiety, their escape and frustration. Abhishek Narayan Verma found himself creating these almost memorial-like moments of his life by drawing them out on and from the stone. This medium has taught him discipline as well as concentration. Lithography is now his companion.
