MULTIPLE PHASES

Multiple Phases is a set of seven drawings with individual titles inspired by the popular French and American revolutionary posters where Abhishek Narayan Verma wanted to create situational poster-like qualities by incorporating and juxtaposing popular myths and facts. The artist tried to document various influences and diurnal situations of his surrounding where the characters are building their existence with hope and anxiety, their escape and frustration. The various selves are in a constant fixation with Eros and Thanatos

The space is the setting where drama breeds as well as shows the physiological and psychological effects. It allows the formation of a narrative and also creates the atmosphere and affects the figures within.
